AP EAPCET combined score
AP EAPCET ranks on a combined score, not your exam marks alone. This works it out from the weightage in the official 2026 booklet — and says what it can’t tell you.
Official source: AP EAPCET 2026 Instruction Booklet, Engineering (official PDF), section 10 and Annexure V: ranking uses a combined score giving “75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAPCET-2026 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry”. The paper has 160 questions of equal weightage. Last checked 23 September 2026.
What this cannot do. It does not predict a rank. Annexure IV says the normalisation procedure is under review and will be published later, and your rank depends on everyone else’s combined score. Ties are broken by total EAPCET marks, then Maths, then Physics.
Common questions
Is this the same as my rank?
No. It’s the combined score AP EAPCET ranks on. Your rank depends on everyone else’s score, and the normalisation procedure for 2026 was still “under review” in the booklet.
Does TG EAPCET work the same way?
No — TG EAPCET 2026 ranks purely on normalised marks, with no Intermediate weightage. Use the TG EAPCET marks vs rank page for that.
