Semester planner
Plan semester by semester. Enter the SGPA you expect for each one and see where your CGPA lands.
How it’s worked out: projected CGPA = (current CGPA × credits done + Σ planned SGPA × credits) ÷ total credits. Semesters are weighted by credits, not counted equally. Around 160 credits is typical for a four-year B.Tech, but your curriculum’s own numbers are what count.
Common questions
How is this different from the target CGPA calculator?
The target calculator works backwards from a goal. This one works forwards from a plan — useful when you know one semester will be harder than another.
What credits should I enter?
The credits for each semester in your own curriculum. They vary by university and branch, so check your syllabus book.
Can I turn my semesters into a poster?
Yes — the My Engineering Life poster charts every semester’s SGPA with your final CGPA and percentage. The preview is free.
